Toy Maker

Tiggi Harding is a fabric artist and designer who specialises in toy making and narrative image with fabric. She studied Illustration at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, and learnt to sew through trial and rather a lot of errors. She currently lives in Cambridge with a tall man with a beard, and the spirit of a perpetually angry black cat.

Her work is defined by vibrant fabric combinations, chosen to communicate a joy of fabric and a deep love affair with colour. Her designs blur the line between unique home decorations and well loved memories.

Whilst primarily working as a bespoke toy maker, she has also worked as an illustrator and as a costume designer for the stage. Her work includes commissions for Cambridge Winter Beer Festival, Sidney Sussex College and OVO Theatre Company.

Praise for Patchwork Toad:

I like Tiggi’s toys because they’re different to other soft toys. She uses cool fabric to make it even cooler. I’ve got 5 toys now, but I’m getting a turtle soon!
